The Cathedral Players' Guild is a cultural arts organization offering excellent theatre that reflects Christian values. We provide a variety of opportunities for participation in theatre and other areas of visual and performing arts. CPG fosters appreciation of the arts and serves the Parish and Community through volunteerism, ministry and growth of its participants.Goals of the Cathedral Players' Guild
Provide a variety of opportunities for participation in theatre as well as other areas of visual and performing arts to foster exposure and appreciation of the arts in the Cathedral parish and the Metro east community.By broadening and diversifying the talent present within the guild and providing a learning environment for young and emerging talent, the CPG seeks to enhance the performance skills and personal development of its participants.
Build an organization to serve the parish and community through inclusion of participation, volunteerism, ministry and teaching.
Build a Cathedral parish organization that accepts any member of the parish and community and reflects Christian values through theatre and the arts.
Enhance and maintain good communication with the parish and with the community so that membership in the guild is increased and provide the parish with an outreach ministry.
We seek to be a financially self-sufficient organization through conscientious stewardship of guild funds and parish facilities while providing quality community entertainment.
